　　The latest data show that in the first half of this year， the GDP of Chengdu stood at 960.272 billion RMB， an increase of 13.1% over the same period of the last year。 The average annual increase of the GDP in the two years prior to the middle of this year recorded 6.7%。

　　During the 13th Five-Year Plan Period （from 2016 to 2020）， the GDP of Chengdu spiked approximately 600 billion RMB to hit 1.77 trillion RMB， ranking No.7 nationwide。
